As a near lifelong resident of Champaign, Illinois, company founder, Cyrus Williams, had designed logos and business cards for anybody who asked. As a favor to his wife, he drew up a logo for a friend of hers. Weeks later [and a series of unlikely events], that logo he made for his wife's friend caught the attention of a company who just fired their graphic artist.

And inCyte Designs was born.
